People sure have a lot of questions about their computers. Here are a few of them answered.

Will you come to my home to fix my computer?

Yes. Onsite means both on-site (computers at work) and in-home (computer in the home or home office).

What do you charge to come over?

We have two different rates: residential onsite and commercial onsite.

• Residential onsite service is $79 per hour with a one-hour minimum.
• Commercial onsite service is $99 per hour with a one-hour minimum.

Commercial jobs are a little bit pricier because these calls are given priority over residential calls.

My computer has been steadily slowing down and now it barely starts. Should I just go buy a newer, faster computer?

Your computer is like a teenager's room: Full of old junk and laundry, with more coming each day and nobody around to clean it up.

In this case, the technician is Mom and cleaning the junk and doing the laundry is called a Tune-Up.

Computers are messy devices by nature and regularly generate scraps of old files that eventually drag performance down until the computer can barely start. Cleaning up the hard drive and beefing up security a bit does wonders for performance and sure costs a lot less than buying a whole new system.
